The Island Medical Program (IMP) Physician Education Program (PEP) provides needs-based continuing professional development and faculty development to IMP clinical faculty and to Vancouver Island’s physicians and allied health professionals.
By utilizing contemporary techniques like simulation, multidisciplinary sessions, and web-based learning, IMP PEP offers excellent content that is responsive to the needs of its learners.

Island Medicine Conference
The IMP PEP and UBC Continuing Professional Development host an annual two-day conference in Victoria. Tailor-made for Island frontline healthcare workers, the Island Medicine Conference includes plenary, breakouts, panel discussions, and hands-on skills workshops — all with a focus on topics seen by healthcare professionals in everyday practice.
