Since 2014, Dr. Bruce Wright has held the dual role of Regional Associate Dean (RAD), Vancouver Island, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia (UBC), and Head, Division of Medical Sciences, University of Victoria (UVic). As RAD, Dr. Wright provides strategic leadership for the UBC distributed undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs throughout Vancouver Island. He is also a family physician with CCFP FCFP credentials. Dr. Wright’s medical education research interests are in career choice, curriculum development, and medical school pedagogy, where he is an author on over 50 peer-reviewed publications.
