Laurel Green

Laurel Green (she/her) is a nationally recognized artist with over a decade of experience as a dramaturg, director, and producer for the performing arts. She has worked a wide network of artists and companies including the National Arts Centre, Banff Centre for the Arts, Alberta Theatre Projects, High Performance Rodeo, and The Cultch. She holds a master’s degree in drama from the University of Toronto, and has training in facilitation, anti-oppression, and social justice frameworks. She is a research associate with University of Victoria’s Theatre Department and is co-founder of Yarrow Collective. Passionate about building creative communities, Laurel designs invitations to participate and provocations for change. She is a cancer survivor, and she was a peer support volunteer and events lead for Wellspring’s Young Adults with Cancer program. You can learn more at laurel-green.com
