Do you want to be a doctor? Find out how you can earn your MD on Vancouver Island with the Island Medical Program (IMP), which delivers the UBC MD Undergraduate Program (MDUP) in collaboration with the University of Victoria and Island Health.
Dr. Shahin Shirzad, Assistant Dean of Admissions, will host this special evening information session along with current IMP students and the IMP admissions coordinator. You’ll learn about the MDUP and the IMP, our admissions process, what it takes to become a doctor, and what it’s like being in medical school. An extended Q&A period will follow the presentation.
This session will be held simultaneously in-person at UVic and online via Zoom. (Please note, there are only 72 in-person seats available).
