Student Co-founds Peer-support Chat Line for LGBTQ2 Youth in BC

LGBTQ2 youth face higher health and mental health risks than their heterosexual peers, but they don’t always have the support they need to navigate those challenges. So, Conor Zeer-Wanklyn (IMP Class of 2021) and Victoria entrepreneur Corey McPherson created QCHAT, a non-profit, low-barrier referral and peer support program. Read More >
Paving the Road to Indigenous Genomic Equity

In 2018, the Silent Genomes project received $10.4 million in funding from Genome Canada, Genome BC, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and others to reduce healthcare disparities and improve precision diagnosis for Indigenous children with genetic disease.
