Do you want to be a doctor? Are you curious about medical school?
Then join us and find out how you could earn your MD on Vancouver Island with the Island Medical Program (IMP), which delivers UBC’s Doctor of Medicine program in collaboration with UVic and Island Health.
At this special evening information session, you’ll learn about UBC’s Doctor of Medicine program (known as the UBC MD Undergraduate Program) and the IMP, the admissions process, what it takes to become a doctor, and what it’s like studying medicine on Vancouver Island. A Q&A period will follow the presentation.
Dr. Hannah Carolan, Assistant Dean of Admissions, will co-host this special evening information session with current medical students and residents studying on Vancouver Island. The IMP admissions coordinator will also be on-hand to answer questions.
This session will be held simultaneously in-person at UVic and online via Zoom. You can select which type of seat you would like through the registration link below. You will receive the Zoom or in-person location details after completing your registration.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
