Theresa McInally is the new Senior Program Assistant, Emergency Medicine (EM), in the post-grad department at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Theresa, who started her role last November, is responsible for the 10 EM residents. This role includes taking care of the residents’ scheduling, housing, and finances, as well as ensuring their evaluations are completed. She also does some scheduling for third- and fourth-year undergrads in the Island Medical Program.
So far, Theresa says the people she works with have been the highlight of her new role. “Everyone’s been very welcoming—very approachable,” she says.
Outside of work, Theresa likes to hike, run, and spend time with her husband, two teenage daughters, and two dogs. She and her husband also teach pipe band drumming. Theresa was a champion drummer for two consecutive years when she lived in Alberta.
