Mini Med School: Exercise (Cardiovascular Health, Hypertension & Diabetes)

Learn more about the relationship between exercise and cardiovascular health, hypertension & diabetes at the IMP’s virtual Mini Med School! This two-hour presentation will show how exercise can help to prevent or improve conditions such as cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, heart failure, hypertension, lipids and cholesterol, and diabetes, as well as give tips to help you get or stay active safely.

Presented by three first-year medical students – Nicole Cameron, Julia De Pieri, and Alexandra Jamieson – this presentation is part of Mini Med School, a short lecture series covering a number of common health topics. Everyone is welcome to attend.
