The Island Medical Program would like to gratefully acknowledge Art, who dedicated 15 years to the IMP’s Patient Program as a Volunteer Patient. Art has decided to retire from volunteering to focus on his family and health.
“Art generously provided his time and energy to support our medical students with their clinical skills sessions. We could always rely on him and we looked forward to seeing him,” says Karen Basi, Patient Program Coordinator.
“Students who were lucky to have met and worked with Art always learned so much from him; he graciously shared his medical health history and was very patient during the physical exams as students practised their clinical skills.”
Thank you, Art, from all of us at the IMP! We will truly miss your gentle and kind presence.
