IMP CHES Liaison
Dr. Bruce Wright is currently the IMP CHES Liaison, an Affiliate Professor in the University of British Columbia (UBC) Department of Family Medicine, and a Professor in the University of Victoria (UVic) Division of Medical Sciences. Between 2014 and 2024, Dr. Wright held the dual role of Regional Associate Dean (RAD), Vancouver Island, Faculty of Medicine, UBC, and Head, Division of Medical Sciences, UVic. As RAD, Dr. Wright provided strategic leadership for the UBC distributed undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs throughout Vancouver Island. He is also a family physician with CCFP FCFP credentials. Dr. Wright’s medical education research interests are in career choice, curriculum development, and medical school pedagogy, where he is an author on over 50 peer-reviewed publications.
